Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting can’t wait until Christmas, if her Twitter feed has been any indication. She’s been counting down the days and retweeting official notes about the Big Bang Theory Christmas episode. Today, Cuoco showed readers of Domaine Home she has a classy aesthetic when it comes to Christmas decorations, and even has one gift-themed dream for her home with husband Ryan.

Kaley told Domaine Home that she loves to gift wrap. Unlike others who may simply slap together some shiny paper and throw on a gift tag, Cuoco gets enthusiastic about the finishing touches. The actor who made Penny, the laid back actress-turned-pharmaceutical-sales-rep, famous on The Big Bang Theory even has aspirations to make a special spot for wrapping in her home.
“I love gift wrapping. I hand-wrap every single gift with tons of different trinkets. I like to add ornaments to the top of the wrapping, so it’s a little extra gift on top of the gift. In fact, I’ve always dreamed of a special gift-wrapping room!”
Cuoco and husband Ryan Sweeting bought a large new home , the former digs of Khloe Kardashian and her ex, Lamar Odom, back in the Spring.

Pop Sugar noted that Cuoco’s at-home aesthetic is far removed from that of her Big Bang Theory character. While Penny might be properly termed “bohemian,” Cuoco is a fan of metallics, something her decorator Jeff Andrews — who also has worked with the Kardashian clan — integrated into the holiday décor.
“Jeff knows my personal taste and style very well. He knows that I love gold and anything sparkly.”
Andrews was also sure to include an animal theme, to reflect Kaley and Ryan’s fur babies.
“We have a ton of picture ornaments of our dogs. Since they are basically our kids, they mean the most to me!”
Andrews noted that the ornaments that adorned both the Cuoco-Sweeting trees had a “woodland” theme, with squirrels and owls.
The Big Bang Theory will not air new episodes before the new year, but Kaley will still appear on a red carpet or two before the clock turns to 2015. People announced she will appear December 19 at the inaugural People Magazine Awards.
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS.
