With the release of the Back to Karkand map pack nearing closer, EA and DICE have released a new trailer for one of the pack’s four classic maps.
The last Back to Karkand trailer gave us a look at the reimagining of classic Battlefield 2 map Strike at Karkand , but this time around we’re treated to a good chunk of gameplay on the Gulf of Oman map, also from Battlefield 2 .
The last video focused pretty heavily on the new and improved destructible environments in the map pack, but this one takes a heavy focus on vehicular combat. We get to see the new jets, the new helicopters and even a few of the new ground vehicles as well.
EA and DICE have yet to reveal solid release dates for the Back to Karkand map pack, only that it will come out in December and PlayStation 3 owners will be getting it a week earlier. When it’s made available, it will be free for Battlefield 3: Limited Edition owners. Otherwise, it will set you back $14.99 / 1200 Microsoft Points.
