Kate Middleton’s forced relaxation is over and she has jumped back into the limelight, as though she was never gone. This past weekend, and today, she has spent time honoring soldiers from the First World War via multiple ceremonies. Afterward, there will be little time for rest before she joins Prince Harry and Prince George on a trip to New York, where they will reveal their newest wildlife charity. Whether the Duchess of Cambridge will be able to maintain her energy and health through the trip is cause for concern.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning on arriving in New York next month, at the height of the Holiday Season. Kate Middleton has never been to New York before, and to see it in all its festive glory is a sight she is anxious to see. NY1 anchor, Pat Keirnen, is excited for their visit, but hopes they don’t become discouraged if the attention is not all on them.

“It’s easy to understand the appeal — December is a special time of year in New York. I hope they don’t think they’re the only ones with the idea, though.”

While visiting the Big Apple, the royal couple is rumored to plan visits to petting zoos, Broadway shows, and other popular tourist sites. However, depending on how Kate feels, they might opt for a quite visit instead. Despite her health, an unnamed source told the Daily Mail that Kate is excited for the trip.

“Kate has never been to New York and she is really looking forward to it now that she is over her illness. Kate was upset she had to cancel her tour of Malta, but now she is over her morning sickness and really excited about America.”

Kate Middleton has been cleared for travel by her doctors, although it is certain that she will be monitored closely to ensure her health is in tip top shape.

The charity that Kate Middleton and Prince William plan to announce is called United Wildlife and will aim to prevent illegal poaching and trade of animals in the wild. Their visit will span the course of three days and their official itinerary has not yet been released, although it is expected to include some high profile events.

What areas of interest would you suggest that the royal couple visit on their trip to New York?
