Jackass star Johnny Knoxville was detained at LAX this morning for trying to board a plane with a grenade in his luggage.
Authorities picked up the grenade at security, and immediately detained Knoxville. Initial reports suggest that grenade was a fake, but it was later discovered it was real, but lacked explosives (an empty grenade?).
Knoxville was cited for carrying a prohibited item and sent on his way.
