Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are celebrating their one year anniversary in style!
The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and famous singer-songwriter took to Paris to bask in their love. But not before Teigen dished on her hopes for their relationship. Chrissy told US Weekly she has high hopes for the couples future, saying,
“I think you are just more comfortable talking about the future more. I was the kind of girl that never talked about marriage and kids … [Now] you just end up talking about everything as forever which is very cool.”
She’s also looking beyond kids to the couple’s twilight years, envisioning what that will be like. Chrissy joked with US Weekly that she’s looking forward to old age with her husband, and the marital aids he’ll need to keep her satisfied.
“It’s nice to be able to be like, ‘I can’t wait to see you with gray hair, it’s going to be hysterical.’ Or, ‘I can’t wait until you have to use Viagra, that’s going to be hysterical!’”
Chrissy took to her Instagram account to show off pics of their celebration, including several shots cuddled up next to John. Both pics feature the couple with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Teigen showed off her trademarked sense of humor in the first pic, when she captioned it “Empire State Building, given to the US from Italy in 1996.”
The second pic again makes reference to American landmarks in front of Paris’ signature structure with the caption “This Statue of Liberty stares at our Statue of Liberty (women smh)”.
Teigen and Legend were married on September 14, 2013, after two years of dating. According to Web Pro News , “the couple said their vows in front of their closest friends and family members during an intimate ceremony at an estate on Italy’s Lake Como.”
While Chrissy Teigen is known for her hilarious social media presence (she posts daily to her Twitter and Instagram accounts), her honesty did get her into some trouble earlier this summer. As reported by Inquistr , Teigen posted that she was drunk while preparing to throw out the first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game:

It all worked out in the end however as her first pitch sailed perfectly to the catcher. She was even named a “Woman We Love” for the month of September by Esquire magazine.
