According to legend, Avril Lavigne songs occasionally make people break out into impromptu dance routines. However, chances are most of these folks aren’t driving SUVs when it happens. At least we hope that’s not the case.
Although Lavigne would surely wag her Canadian finger in disapproval, that didn’t stop budding model and Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kendall Jenner from busting a move behind the wheel of the black Range Rover she received for her 16th birthday.
What’s worse than dancing to Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi” while driving a massive and potentially deadly piece of machinery? Uploading the clip of your carelessness to Instagram. Jenner’s enjoyment of Lavigne’s tune is now available for the world to enjoy. Not surprisingly, quite a few people are shaking their heads in astonishment.
According to Yahoo! Celebrity UK , Jenner’s enjoyment of Avril Lavigne’s track didn’t go unnoticed by her friends and foes on social media. Before you can say “bad idea,” quite a few people were weighing in on the matter. However, Avril Lavigne has yet to address the matter as of this writing. We wouldn’t suggest holding your breath.

If the backlash surrounding this risky and dangerous celebration of Avril Lavigne’s music wasn’t bad enough for Kendall, the folks over at The Fishwrapper issued a pretty stern lecture about the model’s insanely questionable behavior. For shame, Jenner. For shame!
“At the risk of sounding like a mom, driving is serious business — it’s not for texting or fiddling with the radio the whole time you’re in the car, and it’s not the setting for shooting your own personal home videos, either. Know how many people were killed in traffic accidents in 2013 just in the United States? An estimated 35,000. That’s the population of a small city, that is. Know how many people were injured in traffic accidents? Oh, just about 3.8 million. Hopefully you don’t need to reminded what a great number that happens to be.”
