Lark Previn, the adopted daughter of actress Mia Farrow has died aged 35.
Previn died Christmas Day at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, and was cremated Tuesday in a ceremony attended by Farrow and family members. The cause of death was not revealed, however it is believed she had been suffering from a long illness.
Lark Previn was born in Vietnam in 1973 and was one of three children adopted by Farrow and her then-husband, conductor Andre Previn. Lark was later involved in a messy divorce case when child abuse charges were leveled at step-father Woody Allen. Allen was having an affair with her sister, Soon-Yi Previn, and the paid later married. Testimony in that case from a movie producer said that Lark was viewed as a “scullery maid” who “did most of the chores.”
Reports suggest Lark Previn appeared in a number of small parts in Allen films, although there is no credits on record.
Lark Previn is survived by her two children, Sara, 13, and Christine, 12.
