Avril Lavigne and her husband may have plans to start a family, but it’s doubtful that’s going to happen anytime soon.
The “Hello Kitty” singer is currently taking her music to the masses, which means she and Chad Kroeger don’t have too much time for… family planning. Since both Lavigne and the Nickelback singer are busy cranking out music, they really don’t have any immediate plans to start a family.
However, that doesn’t mean Avril Lavigne has ruled out kids altogether. According to the Hindustan Times , the 29-year-old singer and her hubby will shift gears once they’re finished pursuing their respective careers. The singer doesn’t have a specific timeline in mind at the moment, so try not to speed too much time staring at her stomach.
Avril said during a recent interview:
“I’m really focused on my career at the moment. Down the road, I would love to be a mom, but not right now.”
Lavigne also explained how she and Chad Kroeger first got together. Like many musicians, Avril and her spouse first joined forces in the studio. It wasn’t long before they were making beautiful music together.
The singer told the Toronto Sun :
“The experience was a lot of fun, really exciting. We got into the studio and we booked a week together and then it just turned into making the whole record together (she laughs). And then we started dating towards the end so it’s cool. Him being Canadian, we had a lot in common, and then both being traveling musicians.”
Not surprisingly, Avril Lavigne chose not to address any of the countless rumors about her marriage during her chat with the publication. She also didn’t touch on the alleged altercation the couple had with the staff at Sixty Hotel in Beverly Hills not too long ago.
According to Classiclite , Lavigne and her husband definitely weren’t on their best behavior while staying at the hotel. If even a shred of this story is true, then Avril and Chad might need to tone it down a bit when they’re out and about.
An anonymous source reportedly told Life & Style magazine:
“They stayed at the Sixty hotel in Beverly Hills recently, for four days and three night, and it was a complete nightmare. They wanted filet mignon, but it wasn’t on the menu…then they would call [room service] every five minutes to check on the order! One evening, Chad had too much to drink at the hotel bar and mocked a waitress. [Plus] there were also a lot of noise complaints from other guests. And when they finally checked out, their room was left in complete disarray. It looked like a disaster and took housekeeping a long time to clean up.”
