It seems that there is no shortage of people wanting to get close to Miley Cyrus . The former Disney darling-turned-outrageous pop star has had some trouble with a few fans as of late. Now the Los Angeles Police Department is on the lookout for a man and a woman who allegedly broke into Miley’s home in San Fernando Valley and burglarized it.
According to reports , the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s house was broken into after the man and woman scaled the fence outside the sprawling estate and gained access to both the house and Miley’s garage while no one was home. The two made off with a luxury Maserati and an unspecified amount of valuable jewelry.
TMZ reports that there was no sign of forced entry and that the police are actively reviewing Miley’s security tapes and pursuing leads. A rep with the police department indicated that the burglary was first reported when Miley’s assistant returned to the home late on Saturday night and “noticed things were not in the right place” and quickly notified the police department.
Last month, Miley Cyrus had to take out a restraining order against a fan from Arizona who was stalking her.
This recent burglary isn’t an isolated incident, either. Just one day after Miley’s 21st birthday , she was the victim of another break-in. No forced entry was detected at the time of that home invasion, either.
Currently, Miley is actively touring across the world to promote her recent album Bangerz, so she was abroad at the time of the incident. She is on the European leg of her tour with upcoming shows in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, and Zurich later this week. Her tour has been relentless and the singer has taken to her Twitter account to express her extreme home sickness. It looks like Miley might want to invest in some good security locks once has a free moment in her busy schedule. She is expected to return home briefly.
