At least Liam Payne is getting a little help from his friends.
In case you haven’t heard, the One Direction singer was recently targeted by internet bullies who think he’s carrying a little too much excess weight. The Inquisitr previously reported that Payne responded to the hatred with a snarky comment of his own .
Instead of letting their mate go it alone, Liam Payne received some assistance from friend and fellow singer Louis Tomlinson. In short: One Direction knows the different between their fans and the Twitter troublemakers.
According to Unreality TV , Tomlinson sent a direct message to a fan who wanted to share some words of wisdom with Liam. Much to the supporter’s pleasant surprise, Louis actually responded to the comment. After recovering from a very positive shock, the individual shared the news with others.
“Don’t worry love we know what to believe and we know you guys support us. You don’t realize how much we f***ing love you guys!” he wrote. One Direction fans around the world are no doubt swooning at this very moment. Understandably so, of course.
Rumors surfaced earlier this year that Liam Payne spends a lot of time worrying about his weight. When he didn’t have access to a gym, the singer reportedly lived off nothing but Kit Kat chocolate bars to avoid putting on unwanted pounds.
For those who are deeply concerned about Payne’s waistline, One Direction driving instructor Noel Gaughan said he once received a very muscular hug from the singer. He’s also had a first-hand look at Liam’s impressive six-pack.
“When I was with him recently, he went all day on just coffee and Kit Kats — five days in a row. Liam’s got his own gym which he showed me around. It’s amazing. He even showed me his six pack — and when he hugged me I could really feel his muscles,” Gaughan told the Daily Star .
Since living on candy bars isn’t healthy regardless of their age or celebrity status, Sugarscape reported that some people behind-the-scenes were a little concerned about Liam Payne and his eating habits .
“The intensity of life in the band seems to affect Liam more than the other boys, and going to the gym seems to be one of the only things that relaxes him. But we do sometimes fear he might get carried away — especially if he’s not eating properly,” the insider explained.
