Zayn Malik is apparently in really good shape. Not surprisingly, this motivates his fiancé to work out on a regular basis.
Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards said that her hunky husband-to-be often gives her that extra push she needs to hit the gym. The next time you want to skip out on your squats, think about what Zayn would do in that situation.
During her recent chat with We Love Pop magazine, Perrie said Zayn Malik is all the motivation Edwards needs when it comes to getting some exercise . Since the One Direction singer is looking pretty good these days, it’s not wonder that his fiancé doesn’t want to slack off when it comes to fitness.
“I’ve asked Zayn to [help me work out] because I’m really lazy and I need motivating but we never have time,” she recently explained.
She added, “I’ll walk up the stairs instead of getting the escalator or I’ll walk to the fridge and be like, ‘Yeah, that was good for me’.”
Staying in shape and keeping up with Zayn Malik isn’t the only worries on Perrie’s mind these days. According to Metro , she’s more than a little worried that some One Direction fans will end up hating her guts because she’s engaged to the singer. Since fans are an obsessive lot, she’s concerned they’ll develop some serious hatred for her existence.
Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson ruffled plenty of feathers when she suggested that “stupid little Zayn Malik fans” were spending too much time picking on Edwards. In an attempt to calm the waters, Perrie explained what Nelson meant by the comment.
“Basically, us four girls, we’re absolute best friends and we always have each other’s backs. If any of us feel like one of us is getting digged at or getting nasty comments, we will always stick up for each other,” Perrie explained.
She continued, “She just meant that people hating who are Zayn fans are being stupid… she did not mean every single Zayn fan — that would be daft! It was basically a massive misunderstanding.”
Although Zayn Malik and his fiancé are getting ready to tie the knot, it’s still unclear when the pair will walk down the aisle. Since Little Mix is on tour with Demi Lovato and One Direction is writing material for a new album, the singers definitely have their hands full at the moment.
