Taylor Swift can’t wait to unleash her new album on the masses.
After taking home several honors at this year’s American Music Awards, the singer is already hard at work on a brand new batch of songs. Since she’s striving for a sound that’s a little different from the songs found on Red , Swift is very “stoked” to get the material in the hands of her legion of dedicated fans.
While talking exclusively to Hollywood Life , Taylor Swift dropped a few details about her as-of-yet-untitled album. According to the singer, she simply cannot stop talking about upcoming songs.
“I’m so obsessed with where it is right now because I think, for me, the goal is that we start coming upon a sound that’s different from everything that we’ve done before, an identity to a new record — and having come upon that so early in the process is just really thrilling,” Taylor Swift told the website.
She added, “And I mean, I’ve got a lot of time to write more, but it’s really looking promising so far. Like how many things I’ve got finished that I love, that I know I want on the record. It’s way ahead of schedule. So I’m really stoked for you to hear it.”
This certainly isn’t the first time Taylor Swift dished on her new album. Shortly after taking home trophies at the AMAs, the musician gave the folks over at Rolling Stone some info about her new album. Although the info is just more of the same, Swift is clearly excited to discuss the project with anyone who will listen.
She told the publication:

Swift said that winning Artist of the Year for the third time in a row was more than a little overwhelming. In fact, she described the experience as “mind-numbingly unbelievable.”
“It is a little bit hard to absorb all at once. It’s amazing, and the fact that it’s fan-voted makes it that much better. This year has been unreal for me with this album. I don’t expect things to do well, just by default, so for this to happen is just wonderful,” she added.
