Colin Farrell reportedly loves the script for Duncan Jones’ World of Warcraft movie.

The long-awaited adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s hit video game is apparently on the way to the big screen at some point in the near future. Although he didn’t reveal too many details about the project, Farrell said the script for the WoW flick is pretty amazing.

“Don’t know what’s happening, man. I read the script, if that’s any use to you, and it’s amazing… Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for a while and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be,” he recently told IGN .

The actor continued, “I don’t know what’s happening with the film. I don’t know where they are in the process… It’s just a world that I never explored — and it’s a really big and fantastical world. I can’t imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on ‘Moon’ with, like, a dime, I can’t imagine what he’d do with this ‘Warcraft.’”

Although Colin Farrell dished about how ridiculously awesome the World of Warcraft script is at this point in time, he unfortunately stopped short of revealing which character he will play in the flick.

“I probably shouldn’t. I don’t even know, actually, I’ll just say that! I don’t even know. We were just talking, and Duncan just said, ‘There might be something in it for you!’ And I said, ‘Catering?’” Farrell joked.

Since fans have waited patiently for the World of Warcraft movie to take shape, Jones and special effects supervisor Bill Westenhofer finally coughed up a few vague plot details during this year’s BlizzCon. According to Metro , fans will feel for both the humans and the orcs.

“The swords that are being built are the biggest swords a human being can wield,” Westenhofer explained at this year’s event.

Despite the fact that it’s taking forever to get the project off the ground, Jones is still excited about bringing World of Warcraft to the big screen. He also understands that he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to deliver something the fans can enjoy.

The filmmaker said:

“The opportunity to do ‘Warcraft’ is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You hope that you’re going to get the chance to make films where you really get to delve into fantasy. And with ‘Warcraft,’ I get to create a world and there’s not that many filmmakers who get the chance to start from scratch and build something that big. I know how lucky I am and I’m excited to do it.”
