The episode is said to start out with Bob Newhart playing Professor Proton as he turns to Leonard ( Johnny Galecki ) for help with a new experiment. No doubt Sheldon (Jim Parsons) feels irked by the fact that the professor didn’t ask him first, considering he has a bit of a superiority complex and thinks he’s literally the most intelligent and important man alive.
Professor Proton is a TV scientist in the November 7 episode of The Big Bang Theory ‘s season 7, and Sheldon knows only one man capable of destroying his abilities. He enlists the help of Bill Nye, playing himself of course, and the two have an epic face-off in what appears to be Leonard’s laboratory at work.
As it usually happens in most cases, Sheldon might end up insulting Bill Nye enough to make him either leave in mid-competition or join forces with his TV rival after Professor Proton builds what appears to be a contraption made out of hoses, wires, and green fluid.
