Katy Perry isn’t getting any love from Glenn Beck these days.

The conservative talk show host wasn’t exactly thrilled with Perry’s appearance at the 2014 Grammy Awards on Sunday night. In Beck’s humble opinion, the singer’s performance of her hit single “Dark Horse” was nothing short of demonic . He definitely feels that Katy is setting a bad example for her countless fans and supporters.

“The fire in the circle, her hanging onto the witch’s broom, and the guys with the gigantic horns on their head in the background… I mean, it is full-fledged witchcraft and demonic glorification, I think,” Glen Beck said of Katy Perry’s stint at the Grammys.

He continued, “It’s not going to end well. We’re worshiping a god that is glorifying division. It is glorifying just bad things, dark things, dark thoughts. It is glorifying envy and greed, stuff, materialism. It’s not a good path.”

Katy Perry’s allegedly satanic performance included pole dancing, witch burning, broom riding, and a Knights Templar costume. Although she presented everything in a very theatrical and over-the-top fashion, Beck firmly believes that Perry is essentially glorifying satanic and demonic behavior.

The singer told the folks at MTV News last year that she drew inspiration for “Dark Horse” from the Stevie Nicks lyric “Which witch is which?” She also said that the song serves as a not-too-subtle warning to men .

“It’s kind of a juxtaposition. It’s got me, a pop artist, with a little bit of an urban kind of hip-hop-flavored background soundtrack to it, and the lyrics are kind of witchy and dark, as if I was a witch warning this man not to fall in love with me, and if you do know I’m going to be your last,” Katy Perry explained.

If Glenn Beck was deeply offended by Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards, then he’ll probably want to steer clear of the upcoming music video. Juicy J, who collaborated with Perry on the track, said the clip is very complex. Chances are that “demonic” imagery will rear its head once again.

“It’s a movie, man. It’s a major motion picture. I can’t really tell you because it’s definitely going to be a surprise, but I’ll tell you this much right here: you’ve seen her other videos, this one’s gonna be just as big. Everything she does is like grade A,” the rapper explained .

Are you a fan of Katy Perry ? Did you think that her “Dark Horse” performance at the Grammy Awards was essentially demonic and satanic glorification?
