Game of Thrones executives at HBO have announced the premiere dates for its spring shows, with the line up including Vinyl , the rock ‘n’ roll drama from Martin Scorsese , Terence Winter, and Mick Jagger, as reported by Hitfix .

According to the new schedule, HBO has pushed back the greatly anticipated Game of Thrones season six premiere date by at least two weeks. Premiere dates for previous Game of Thrones seasons were traditionally set for early and late April.
It must be noted that in doing so, HBO has pushed the series out of its typical time frame: if Game of Thrones doesn’t premier until the end of April, it means that it won’t complete the season by the beginning of summer.

While it is as yet unknown whether or not HBO made a final decision on the premiere dates, a shift in time frame like this could affect the series’ viewership. The Game of Thrones season five finale finished off with 8.1 million viewers, which was the show’s highest viewership numbers ever, according to HitFix .
Many fans now wonder if Westworld , an upcoming science fiction thriller television series created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, could take the spring spot pushing Game of Thrones even further into summer.

Game of Thrones season six began filming in July, and there have been a number of leaked pictures and rumors ever since, according to The Week .
Fans living or traveling around Northern Ireland, Spain and Croatia, where Game of Thrones is now being filmed, have been watching the cast, costumes and scenery closely, trying to figure out what to expect from the sixth season.
And there have been a couple of interesting observations, according to The Week . In particular, Daenerys Targaryen was spotted with Cersei Lannister. A photograph taken during filming the Game of Thrones sixth season showed Emilia Clarke, Natalie Dormer and Lena Headey – who portray Daenerys Targaryen, Margaery Tyrell and Cersei Lannister respectively.
According to Melty , the exclusive photograph provided an “incredible” spoiler, suggesting that Daenerys has crossed the Narrow Sea and is now in Westeros. Even though fans note it is too early for Daenerys to arrive in Westeros, such a scenario is taken for granted, since the mother of dragons wants to reclaim the Iron Throne.
Another major leak of the sixth season includes the claims that Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, was spotted speaking to crew and cast on a snowy field in Northern Ireland. Fans of the show are now speculating whether or not it means that Jon Snow is back from the dead.

Watchers on the Wall, a Game of Thrones community for breaking news, reported that Harington was spotted wearing Stark-style clothing rather than his usual Night’s Watch black attire.
Keisha Castle-Hughes, who played warrior Obara Sand in Game of Thrones series five, has no idea whether or not her character will last another season in Game of Thrones , adding that the cast had even offered HBO bosses bribes to find out whether their characters are alive in upcoming episodes, as reported by The New Zealand Herald .
Castle-Hughes made the revelation during pop-culture convention Armageddon.
“Honestly, we know nothing. The craziest thing about the show is that we are almost as in the dark as everyone else. I actually learn more about the show from the fans then I do from working on it.”
According to her, the cast had repeatedly offered Game of Thrones bosses bribes to find out the future of their characters, but “they are rock solid” in their highly secretive stance. Meanwhile, Icelandic strongman Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, who plays Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in Game of Thrones , sparred with Conor McGregor, Irish mixed martial artist who prepares to fight for the UFC’s featherweight title in December, according to Huffington Post .
Bjornsson was among those who participated in the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2011, finishing sixth. His best result was second in 2014.
