President Donald Trump met his match Sunday evening while boarding Air Force One, after a reporter rattled him over the newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails. She also pointed out the growing split within the Republican party over his extreme right-wing rhetoric.

As the reporter pushed for a follow-up over the question of white nationalist Nick Fuentes and the increasing Republican divide, she questioned whether the party would embrace his racist views.

When Trump halted mid-sentence, he snapped at the reporter, saying, “Will you let me finish my statement? You are the worst — you’re with Bloomberg, right? You are the worst. I don’t even know why they have you.” Meanwhile, the reporter appeared to be Jennifer Jacobs, who was formerly with Bloomberg but is now with CBS News.

Social media lit up following the incident, with critics attacking the President over his typical handling of the media. On Threads, a commenter slammed back to the viral post by writing, “Actually, Mr President, you are the worst. You have the lowest rating of any American President. Can you explain why everyone hates you?”

One person wrote, “Absolutely the rudest, most hateful person on the planet. Lowest of the low.” Another person brought up the subject of IQ tests, writing, “The IQ of a man who resorts to calling names and throwing stones is sub-60. I think from this day forward, presidents should be subjected to IQ tests. No person with an intelligence quotient below 80, and that’s generous, should be allowed to run. Ruining our country by injecting it with stupidity.”

After the reporter’s questioning, Trump continued responding to the question about Tucker Carlson’s recent interview with Nick Fuentes that attracted her query. “If he wants to interview Nick Fuentes — I don’t know much about him — but if he wants to do it, get the word out, let him,” continuing, “You know, people have to decide. Ultimately, people have to decide.”

When pressed further about his hosting of Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago in 2022, Trump stated that he didn’t know he would be attending, saying, “I didn’t know Nick at the time… he came along, with a few other people. [Kanye] West brought a few people with him. Uh, meeting people, talking to people, for somebody like Tucker, that’s what they do,” he said, adding, “You know, people are controversial. Some are, some aren’t. I’m not controversial.”

The exchange with the press came among Trump’s frustrations over the release of thousands of emails to and from Epstein by the House Oversight Committee. Among them was a 2011 message where Epstein claimed the president “knew about the girls.” This sparked a debate over what Trump knew about Epstein’s conduct and just how much he was involved.

🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.

Among the released emails was another quoting Epstein that Trump “spent hours” at his house, where a name had been redacted and labelled “victim.” According to the White House, the victim in question is Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year over her experiences with Epstein.

Despite the extensive documentation in the emails, Trump attempted to downplay his relationship with Epstein, stating, “Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years, but he also saw a strength because I was president. So, he dictated a couple of memos to himself. Give me a break. You gotta find out what did he know with respect to Bill Clinton, with respect to the head of Harvard, with the respect of all of those people that he knew, including JPMorgan Chase.”
