Have you met Donald Trump, the wedding crasher? If not, we are here to help. Here’s what happened – The US President crashed a wedding at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, over the weekend, and a moment from that went insanely viral on social media.

The wedding ceremony was that of investment banker and Stormwall founder Mike Wilkerson, and a video of Trump crashing the wedding festivities was documented on social media by radio host and author Eric Metaxa.

On Instagram, Eric Metaxa shared a clip of Trump greeting the newlyweds and captioned it, “Last night, at my friend Mike Wilkerson’s wedding at Mar-a-Lago, the President showed up. As he walked in, he pointed right at me and joked, ‘This is the guy who’s going to get me to heaven…’”

🚨 EPIC! President Trump CRASHED a newly married couple’s wedding last night at Mar-a-Lago and they could not believe it!

“This is a good looking couple! I’m gonna take their picture and use it in a hotel ad!” 🤣🔥

Best president ever.

Meanwhile, in the clip, Trump is seen greeting the couple while he looks at Eric and jokes, “He’s going to get me into heaven.” To which Metaxas replied, “I want to talk to him about getting into heaven… but not here. Not here.”

Eric Metaxa continued in the Instagram caption, “I laughed and told him, “I’d really like to talk to you about that… but another time.” Then I reminded him, “Don’t forget—you’re America’s Supercentennial President.” Truthfully, I would love to have that conversation with him one day. But this wasn’t the place.”

Turns out, this isn’t the first time that Trump has crashed a wedding. A few years ago, he attended a wedding held at the Trump National Golf Course in Jersey, where he told the crowd to “take care of” the bride and groom. Just a year before that, in 2017, Trump not only crashed a wedding, he also shook hands with the bride and the groom, went on to snatch the mike and even gave a speech.

Coming back to Trump’s ascending use of the term “heaven” in speeches of late – in a recent interview with Laura Ingraham, he decoded what he actually meant by it and told the journalist that he was trying to be “sarcastic and funny.”

He’s the best 😂

“I was being funny, sarcastic. I said, ‘I’m never gonna make it to heaven, I don’t think I qualify.’ I was kidding, having fun. You can’t be sarcastic as a politician anymore.”

Trump said, “When I made that statement, I was being funny, sarcastic. You know, it’s bad for a politician to be sarcastic. I said, ‘I’m never going to make it to heaven… I don’t think I can make it. I don’t think I qualify.’ I was kidding. I was having fun.”

It all began when Trump jokingly told a reporter earlier this year, “I don’t think there’s anything that’s gonna get me in heaven. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven.” In addition to that, he signed off one of his fundraising emails to supporters with the text “I want to try and get to Heaven” in August this year.

Throughout the year, Trump has spoken about heaven, both directly as well as cryptically. During a meeting at the Oval Office, Trump said that “there’s no reason to be good.” He explained that the only reason one should be good is ‘that next step,’ cryptically talking about heaven.

He isn’t the sole Trump flooding his speeches with the ‘H’ word (as in heaven). Donald Trump’s son, Eric, said this during an interview in October, “He is heaven-bound and I can tell you the one thing he does that might have influenced heaven is I think there’s a lot fewer people going to heaven, meaning they’re going to heaven slower because he stopped the death and destruction around the world. I can say that as a son because I’ve seen the hand of God on him for a very long time, guiding him through the most unthinkable, dark process.”
