Real estate mogul and Celebrity Apprentice star Donald Trump has commented on contestant Bret Michaels’ condition after his recent brain hemorrhage and subsequent hospitalization . Trump, who stars with Michaels on this season of Celebrity Apprentice , says that the former Poison singer has a rough road ahead to recover from the incident. The Donald tells TMZ that Michaels is in ‘”big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great.” But Trump feels that the rocker’s determination and drive could help him get through his latest medical crisis:
As Trump put it, “He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life.”
Trump, who TMZ reports is in touch with “people” at the hospital in which Michaels is being treated, personally theorizes that an on stage fall last year may have precipitated the dangerous brain hemorrhage the singer suffered late last week. Several days after Michaels was hospitalized, he remains in the intensive care unit.
