A Vicente Fox pot farm might be in the future of Mexico’s former president if Mexico legalizes marijuana.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr , legalizing marijuana is a growing worldwide trend. A recent poll showed that legalizing medical marijuana is support by 76 percent of doctors throughout the world.

The Vicente Fox pot farm comment came about when the former president of Mexico was discussing marijuana legalization efforts. Vicente Fox claims pot legalization would benefit Mexico and hurt Mexican drug cartels.

A Fox News reporter asked Fox if a Vicente Fox pot farm was in the future for him as a marijuana business. Fox responded: “Sure I would. Once it’s legitimate and legal, sure, I could do it, I’m a farmer. Producers of all types can participate.”

Vicente Fox believes the war on drugs only causes crime to increase, leading to violence, money laundering, and other problems.

A Vicente Fox pot farm might even represent a potential partnership between the United States and Mexican marijuana businesses. Vicente Fox traveled to Seattle to support former Microsoft manager Jamen Shively who is planning on launching the “Starbucks of marijuana” as a chain of medical marijuana dispensaries:

“This historic step today is to be observed and evaluated closely by all of us, because it is a game changer,” Fox said. “I applaud this group that has the courage to move ahead. They have the vision, they are clear where they’re going, and I’m sure they’re going to get there.”

Shively has raised at least $125,00 so far for his marijuana business.

Do you agree with Vicente Fox’s pot plans for legalized marijuana?
