Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof are celebrating 10 years of marriage and two beautiful children together by renewing their wedding vows!
According to MSN, the two renewed their vows in Hawaii on September 30 in the presence of their daughters Satyana, 4, and Keeva, 16 months.
Two months before the renewal, the How I Met Your Mother star told Us Weekly that Denisof had re-proposed to her and planned the entire event.
“It’s the best thing ever! It was so lovely,” the 39-year-old told detailed in late July. “He’s the most romantic husband and he did even more than I could ever ask for. Like every detail, he thought about. It was so wonderful.”
It was more than just a sweet gesture. Denisof went all out for his lady.
“First of all he let me sleep in,” Hannigan recalled. “He had this big box from Barney’s with a card and I thought, ‘Am I forgetting something?’ There was this beautiful Missoni dress and he said, ‘We’re leaving in an hour.’”
She added, “He had another plane to take me where we first got engaged and it was just everything. So wonderful. We went to the French Laundry for lunch.”
She was also thrilled to have the couple’s daughters along.
“It will mean so much to us that we can do it in front of our girls,” she said.
Hannigan and Denisof met while the two worked together on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the late ’90s. Denisof also reprised his Buffy character on the spin-off show Angel , and has had a number of minor roles since then . Most recently, he played “The Other” in The Avengers .
Everyone knows Hannigan from How I Met Your Mother , of course, and she’s wonderful. But I still maintain with strong conviction that her husband is one of the most criminally underrated actors working today.
