Kevin Garnett has no interest in playing for the Denver Nuggets.
According to the NBA player’s representative, Garnett has made it clear that he will not be moving to Denver.
The Denver Post reports:
“Through his representatives, Garnett has let it be known he has no current interest in the Nuggets.”
Rumors have been flying around Boston’s big man and the Nuggets may still try to persuade KG to the Mile High City. That, however, probably isn’t going to happen. Garnett only has a few year’s left and he wants to spend those years in Boston. If the Celtics do end up trading Garnett, he’s going to want to go to a team with instant Championship potential.
Garnett talked about the trade rumors earlier this week saying that he “bleeds green” and that he wants to end his career with the Celtics.
“I bleed green, I die green, that’s what it is … But it is a business, and when that crosses the paths, I deal with it. Trades are part of this league.”
Garnett may not be heading to Boston anytime soon but KG may be leaving Boston. According to Mark Kiszla at the Denver Post, “there’s no doubt Boston is listening to trade inquiries from around the NBA.”
