Kevin Federline popped the question to girlfriend Victoria Prince in Las Vegas and is planning on getting married before the weekend is out.
To wit, the 35-year-old has already gotten a marriage license approved as of Friday.
“She said yes!” a source told Us Weekly of Federline’s engagement. “Kevin told her he was going to Vegas for a job, but he surprised her by proposing and [then plans on] marrying her while they are there.”
The tattler added, “Victoria really wanted this for a long time so she’s gotta be blown away. She’s proven herself with him from day one. Victoria is an awesome girl.”
Federline, a former back-up dancer, started dating 30-year-old Prince in 2008. They’re parents to 1-year-old Jordan Kay, who is with them in Las Vegas. For anyone counting, that’s five total children for the fertile Federline.
He’s perhaps most notorious for being the ex-husband of pop star Britney Spears . The two married in 2004 after just a few months of dating. Spears filed for divorce from Federline in 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.
Still, the former couple share two sons: Jayden James, 6, and Sean Preston, 7. Federline is also father to 11-year-old Kori and 9-year-old Kaleb with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.
But all of that emotional baggage wasn’t enough to halt Federline’s enthusiasm for settling down with Prince. As far back as 2010, he told Ryan Seacrest that marriage with his then-girlfriend was definitely something he was pursuing.
“Would I get married again? Definitely,” he said.
