Justin Timberlake’s Beard Spotlights Third ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ Trailer

Oscar Isaac might star in the new Coen brothers film Inside Llewyn Davis but Justin Timberlake’s beard has stolen the show.

In the movie Oscar gets punched in the face, shoved against a car, and nearly gets pushed out of earning money from his own album. He then finds out he is about to be a father without the ability to pay child support.

The movie takes place in New York City’s 1960s folk music scene and introduces an uncharacteristically scruffy Justin Timberlake.

Also featured are a black-haired Carey Mulligan and funny yet sarcastic John Goodman. In the trailer Goodman’s character tells Davis folk isn’t music. When his character tries to borrow money from Timberlake he quips “not again,” and Mulligan tells Davis she’s carrying his baby by passing him a note.

While there have been two other trailers for the movie fans seem to be really talking about Justin Timberlake outside of his regular manicured look.

Also featured in the trail is the folk song Fare Thee Well (Dink’s Song), sung by the film’s star, Isaac, and Marcus Mumford of the band Mumford and Sons.

Justin Timberlake also provides music for the soundtrack. The movies music includes classic and new original pieces.

Inside Llewyn Davis, the eighth movie from Joel and Ethan Coen, debuts in limited release on December 6. The movies full release is scheduled for December 20.

In the meantime Justin Timberlake is once against celebrating a top-selling album, while continuing to accept movie roles in various genres from comedy to straight drama.

Are you excited to see Timberlake, Isaac, Mulligan, and Goodman in starring roles beside one another?
