Microsoft Gives Windows Phone 7 Developers The Gift Of Copy & Paste

It’s been a long-time coming so we’re sure Developers were happy to learn that Microsoft has finally rolled out a copy and paste function for application development.

The announcement was made by Bandon Watson, Microsoft’s director of developer relations during a podcast last night via PPCGeeks.

The roll out of the new option has begun and we’re told the Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools kit is gearing up to pass the one million downloads mark.

Also included with the update are several performance upgrades, including one fix that is meant to speed up application launch times.

It’s a small step for the mobile OS, but then again Google Android and even the iOS system both started out with basic building blocks and moved on from there, who knows, maybe there is still hope for a Microsoft led mobile OS after all.
