Snoop Dogg’s Son: Lane Kiffin’s Firing Was Overdue

Will Snoop Dog’s son Cordell Broadus end up playing at USC? The chances are probably a little better now that Lane Kiffin has been fired.

Broadus hasn’t decided where he’s going to play yet but he said that he was excited to see what the new coaching staff could do at USC.

Snoop Dog’s son said: “I feel that he should have been fired a while ago… USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like.”

Sports Illustrated reports that Broadus is considered a top 10 wide receiver in the Class of 2015. He has already received offers from LSU, Nebraska, UCLA and, of course, USC. The The 6-foot-2 16-year-old hasn’t picked his future school yet but USC is definitely a front runner. Broadus is a big Trojans fans and has attended a few practices at the California school.

Are you surprised that Cordell Broadus is happy that USC fired Lane Kiffin?

Kiffin was abruptly let go earlier this week after the Trojans lost their 7th game out of the last 11.

Athletic director Pat Haden said: “My job is to do what is best for USC… personally have a great deal of respect for Lane…. He did the absolute best he can. Lane was clearly disappointed. He really, really tried to keep his job.”
