Tom Hiddleston Talks About Finding Love For ‘Loki’

Tom Hiddleston has confessed he would like to have his villain Loki, from Thor to have a love interest.

The British actor who has portrayed Loki in not only Thor, but The Avengers and will reprise the role in the upcoming Thor: The Dark World, said he wouldn’t mind his character finding love in a future Marvel movie.

More specifically, Hiddleston is calling for the Enchantress to make an appearance and hinted that the idea has been pitched to the studio already.

In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Tom HIddleston says,

When I was first reading the comics, the relationship with the Enchantress was one of the really fun things I thought would be good to explore, and I may have even pitched it to Kevin Feige at some point. Because she is as sneaky and as untrustworthy as he was.

They basically had a really fantastic and twisted relationship until they both say, ‘You know what? I don’t trust you as far as I can throw you. It’s over’. Because they keep betraying each other, in a way. So it could be good.

In the Marvel comic books Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is a supervillain who is the adoptive brother and archenemy of Thor, played by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth (Rush) in the movie.

The comic book character is known as the “God of Lies and Mischief”, he is jealous of his brother Thor, because their people see him as all goodness and strength, while Loki is seen as a troublemaker.

When they grow up, Loki makes many attempts to destroy his more popular brother.

In the new installment of the saga, Thor, the god of thunder, come to his less than trustworthy brother in his hour of need while he attempts to save Earth from another evil character, Malekeith (Christopher Eccleston).
