Flip Mini HD Gets 802.11 N WiFi, Enters FCC For Approval
The FCC database has been populated with a new device from Flip. The Flip Mini HD passed into the commissions database this week and features 2.4GHz and 5GHz 802.11n WiFi capabilities.
The shape of the FCC label, alongside the location of the devices HDMI port and the M3260 model number gives good reason to assume that the unit is part of the Flip Mino family, although that has yet to be confirmed by the company.
If you’re unfamiliar with Flip requirements, the 5GHz WiFi option means the unit would be capable of working on the FlipShare TV service. [via FCC]
