Stephen Curry Flavored Mouthguards Exist
The Stephen Curry flavored mouthguard is coming to sports stores everywhere, and yes, it is sponsored by the Golden State Warriors’ super star player.
Stephen Curry announced his partnership with MoGo Sport via his Twitter account Thursday with the tweet, “Excited to announce my partnership w/@MoGoSport, the 1st flavored mouthguard! I’ll be wearing “Steph Curry” flavor!”
Wait, Steph Curry flavor? What does that even mean? The answer is lemonade, the Stephen Curry special edition mouthguard will taste like lemonade.
About his participation with MoGo Sports, Curry said:
“As a professional athlete and father, I can appreciate a company like MoGo that is trying to make protective sports gear more enjoyable to wear. One of the things I stress at events like my basketball camp is the importance of protecting yourself on the court. Regular mouthguards were always uncomfortable and rubber-tasting, but MoGo tastes great and keeps my mouth from getting dry.”
Stephen Curry has a point about mouthguards, and any sports equipment for that matter. It’s incredibly uncomfortable, and any way to improve the experience is appreciated.
MoGo claims the flavor on their mouthguards is strong enough to last an entire season, and are completely health to wear. A number of athletes, including Colin Kaepernick, have also signed sponsorships with the mouthguard company.
