John Duhamel Enlists Newborn Boy Axl To Help North Dakota Football

Josh Duhamel is getting his newborn boy ready to be a football fan.

This weekend the actor shared a picture on Twitter of baby Axl Jack with the tagline “Go Bisons,” the name of Duhamel’s homestate North Dakota team. Josh has been a big fan of the team, and apparently he’s ready to get his son involved as well.

It marked the second time this week that Josh Duhamel and his wife Fergie shared pictures of their little boy, who was born August 29. They already published a series of photos this week, including one shot of Axl Jack puckering his lips like a model.

“Axl Jack Duhamel Day 1 Life is good :)#paparazziyoucanleaveourhousenow,” the actor captioned the shot.

Another picture showed the boy wearing headphones.

The baby boy was born at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, tipping the scales at 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

Axl Jack has already brought the family together in more ways than one. After keeping her maiden name for the four years they’ve been married, Fergie decided after her son was born that it’s to make the change and take Duhamel as her surname.

Enlisting his newborn to support his favorite football team seemed to help Josh Duhamel and the North Dakota Bison out this weekend. On Saturday the No. 1 ranked squad rolled to a 51-0 victory over Delaware State.

Josh Duhamel said he plans to take a break from acting for a little while so he can be home with his wife and new baby. That will leave them a lot of time to watch North Dakota football games together on Saturdays.
