Idris Elba To Liam Gallagher: ‘F*** That Idiot’

Idris Elba has launched a scathing attack on Liam Gallagher, reigniting the feud that had originally started between the pair in February.

Earlier this year, Elba came head to head with the former Oasis singer at the infamous London restaurant, The Ivy. The pair almost came to blows as they started to argue over a bobble hat.

Elba told GQ Magazine that it all started when he touched his hair. The Wire actor remarked, “Didn’t like that. Don’t touch his hair, apparently. F*** off. Next time walk with a fucking hairdresser, then.”

He then impersonated the singer, adding, “Well, ‘I’m a popular rock singer, so I’m going to be mean and f****** horrible to people just because they messed up my look.’ F*** off.”

Elba then confronted accusations that he had played Oasis’ huge mid 90’s hit, “Wonderwall,” to have a go at the singer.

When asked, Elba responded, “No! F*** that idiot. No. I don’t even know what his songs are about now or what band he’s in now. No-one gives a f***, yeah? He was popular when he was in Oasis.”

Previously, Elba admitted that the pair had clashed at an after-party the NME Awards, which all began because of Elba’s bobble hat.

Elba was asked by The Guardian if his clothes were the reason for the argument. However, Elba originally looked to downplay the ordeal, and when asked if they came close to having a fist-fight he said, “Not really. We just had a little exchange of words.”

Elba then continued, “My hat, not a bobble hat. It got blown out of proportion, but we kept our hats on, so to speak. It was a good hat, man. I guess he just took against it. He must have thought it looked silly, because he tried to grab it.”
