Jennifer Garner Turns The Tables On Photographer
If you’re planning to snap photos of Jennifer Garner and her family, then you should prepare to have your picture taken by the actress.
A photographer recently learned that nothing come between a mother and her children. The former Alias star turned the tables on a shutterbug during a trip to the Pacific Palisades farmers market.
According to the folks at E! Online, Jennifer Garner whipped out her camera to take pictures of the paparazzo who tried to sneak a few shots of her children. The website reports that she snapped shots of the photographer as he attempted to grab a few images of the actress’ family.
When it comes to her children, Garner isn’t messing around. The Elektra star isn’t a fan of people taking unauthorized photographs of children. The Los Angeles Times reports that the actress is hoping to criminalize such behavior.
Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck discussed the matter with the California State Assembly Judiciary Committee on Public Safety last August. According to the pair, photographers are essentially putting children in harm’s way by taking their picture.
Garner explained:
I am an actress, but I am a mom first. Being stalked has been hard for me, but it’s beyond what a child should have to endure. The price paid for pictures of celebrity children is now absurdly high. They have a bounty on their heads every day. Literally every day there are as many as 15 cars of photographers waiting outside our home. Large, aggressive men swarm us, causing a mob scene, yelling, jockeying for position, crowding around the kids. My children aren’t actors or celebrities, they are just kids like your kids or anyone else’s. And just like you want to protect your children, I want to protect mine.
