Brandi Favre, sister of Brett, busted for meth

Brett Favre’s sister Brandi Favre has been busted during a drug raid in Mississippi.

Favre was among five people arrested at a meth lab yesterday after police witnessed a drug deal at a local gas station. The local law says that Brandi Favre is a person with whom they are well acquainted:

Hancock County Sheriff’s Maj. Matt Karl says officers are “very familiar” with 34-year-old Brandi Favre… In 1999, Favre, her sister-in-law and another woman were booked with felony shoplifting. In 1996, she was charged with unlawful use of a weapon in connection with a drive-by shooting at a motel in Slidell, La.

Favre is expected to appear in court today, and charges are likely to be brought against her for manufacturing methamphetamine and generating hazardous waste. All suspects arrested in the condo-based meth lab were taken to a local hospital for decontamination. At the scene, police recovered about 9 grams of meth, with a street value of around $1,000.
