For Leah Remini Scientology lost her friends.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Leah Remini joined Dancing With The Stars for this season.
The Church of Scientology is famous for seeking after fame. For example, the Church of Scientology wanted Bono and Brad Pitt added to their numbers…and almost managed to snag one of them.
But for Leah Remini Scientology came into her life through her family:
“My mother got involved when we were very young, so it’s all we really ever knew. But over time, my eyes got opened and I could just no longer be affiliated with the organization, and my family felt the same, so we left.”
But when Leah Remini left Scientology she also lost many friends :
“It’s hard. We lost friends who can no longer talk with us who are still with the organization. These are friends that we’ve had for dozens of years. But I have great friends, other friends that are not in the church, who have stood by us. Our family is stronger, we’re together, and that’s all I can ask for.”
Leah Remini confirmed Scientology does not allow people in the Church of Scientology to talk to people who’ve left.
