Gmail Now Lets You Undelete Your Past Contact Deletion Mistakes

Had a fight with a friend? Accidentally deleted a business contact? The program allows users to specify a time period for contact deletions to be restored, for example, you can restore contacts you accidentally deleted yesterday, a week ago or 3 weeks ago, simply choose how far back to restore all delete contacts in a given time period, such as all deleted contacts over the last 1 day, 3 hours and 15 minutes ago.

Just think of the program as a “Windows system restore” for delete contacts.”

In true Google fashion, the tweak to their system is minimal, ensuring it won’t bother users who have no need for the option, while still providing a valuable service to those who need it.

What do you think about the new contact restoration service?
