‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Collector’s Edition In-Game Bonuses Revealed

If you haven’t pre-ordered your very own copy of Grand Theft Auto V, then you still have time to do so. Rockstar is hoping a handful of in-game bonuses will change your mind.

The Special and Collector’s editions of the upcoming open-world crime epic are packed with several extras that won’t be available to those who purchase the vanilla version of the game. Coughing some extra cash will give you a few more things to play with this September.

Not only will players get a handful of nifty outfits for the characters in Grand Theft Auto V, they’ll also have access to some exclusive weaponry. Included among the in-game bonuses are a.50 Caliber Pistol and the Bullpup Shotgun. Each one can be picked up at Ammu-Nation at no cost.

Those folks who decide to pick up either the Special or Collector’s Edition of GTA V will also have access to Stunt Plane Trials. Successfully completing these side missions will give the characters a boost to their pilot skills.

The in-game bonuses will also give Trevor, Michael and Franklin a boost to the regeneration of their special abilities. While everyone else is waiting for them to recover, fans who shelled out money for the pricier editions will see these powers regenerate 25 percent faster.

If you’re into character customization, the fancy version of Grand Theft Auto V will feature exclusive tattoos, haircuts, and facial hair. Clothing will also cost 20 percent less. It may seem superficial, but these perks are important to those fans who live and breathe the experience.

Finally, the Special and Collector’s edition will feature exclusive customization options for multiplayer that aren’t available in the regular version. Those who purchase the Collector’s Edition will get an extra garage. If you’re a fan of the franchise, it might be worth the money to get these added bonuses.

Grand Theft Auto V hits Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 17.
