Sydney Leathers Exposed To HIV, Reports Allege

Was Sydney Leathers exposed to HIV in a recent porn shoot? Fellow porn stars who have worked with the sexting mate of Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner have blabbed to gossip press saying that the scary situation may be a concern for Sydney.

The Sydney Leathers HIV and porn allegation comes from Gawker, a site not afraid to tackle delicate subjects and delve deeply and frankly into the marginalized worlds of things such as the porn industry.

And the site managed to draw a scary line between the one-time Weiner sext pal and a recently infected porn star with whom Sydney Leathers has been working.

Gawker explains:

“An adult industry performer who tested positive this week for HIV shot her most recent sex scene with Xander Corvus — the man who starred as Anthony Weiner in Sydney Leathers’ just released porn debut ‘Weiner and Me.’… Cameron Bay, who has appeared in adult films since 2010 under various names, confirmed to AVN late last night that she was the performer responsible for the moratorium on porn production announced yesterday.”

Positive HIV tests are known to halt the porn industry in its tracks, and whenever a performer comes up positive, the adult film world is rocked as porn stars are forced to endure the agonizing wait for a hopefully negative result.

While a positive HIV diagnosis isn’t the immediate death sentence it was just a few years back, the circumstance is a blow to a porn career. Gawker also drew the line from Bay to Leathers through Corvus — scarily explaining:

“Just a few days later she filmed an unprotected sex scene for the ongoing Kink.com series Public Disgrace [NSFW]… Her male partner was a freelance actor named Xander Corvus — most recently known for having similarly unprotected sex with Sydney Leathers for Vivid.com [NSFW].”

Porn reps for Bay commented on the Sydney Leathers HIV connection, saying:

“We can not comment other than to say that proper protocols regarding notifications are in place.”

Leathers addressed the HIV rumors, saying in a statement:

“I do not have HIV and have not been exposed to HIV regardless of the reports out there saying otherwise. I was not contacted by the Free Speech Coalition to re test, I reached out to them to see if I should re test and was told I did not need to. I took all the necessary precautions before and after my scene for Vivid and acted responsibly and therefore was able to protect myself from exposure to anything. As an added precaution I retested 2 days after my shoot and again yesterday and all tests were negative.”

Gawker notes in the Sydney Leathers HIV post that negative tests can result for up to three months after HIV exposure.
