Dwayne Johnson Shares ‘Hercules’ Footage On Instagram [Video]

Dwayne Johnson continues to keep fans buzzing about his upcoming action flick Hercules: The Thracian Wars. The actor recently shared some behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram.

Although the clip starts out harmless enough, it ends with a peculiar moment where Johnson appears to be tickling the prop supervisor. However, the moment becomes a bit more sinister when you read the actor’s explanation. In short: Be sure to guard your nipples when you’re around The Rock.

The Fast and Furious 6 star explained:

On a movie set we have a Prop Supervisor who’s job is to make sure everything’s 100 percent perfect before the Assistant Director yells “Aaand ACTION.” Today we have Prop Supervisor Mickey who’s ensuring the drapes are perfectly still for our take once I get in position. What Mickey doesn’t know is I’m a beast with a vice grip and once my hands get ahold of you… you become my lunch.

The clip from director Brett Ratner’s Hercules: The Thracian Wars might give you a glimpse at some behind-the-scenes shenanigans, but it still doesn’t give you a look at Dwayne Johnson’s face. However, it’s easy to tell that he’s the guy in the video simply from his massive physique.

The busy actor also shared a clip during one of his recent workouts. While hard at work staying in shape, Johnson takes a moment to yell at someone off-camera. It’s a priceless moment, though it’s kind of hard to tell if he’s just messing around.

“The key to Monster Traps. Four sets. Twenty reps. Last set a drop set two times. Full controlled reps with squeeze at the top. Then shout ‘focus’ to someone followed with the gaze of death. Be intense. Be hungry. Be prepared to get kicked outta the gym,” the actor explained.

Here’s the behind-the-scenes footage featuring Dwayne Johnson in Hercules. The film is slated to arrive in theaters on July 25, 2014.
