Zayn, Depp And Sheeran: New Supergroup Forms At LA Studio [Report]

What do Zayn Malik, Ed Sheeran, and Johnny Depp all have in common? Up until yesterday, not much, but the trio are now reportedly recording some new music together.

Malik, from One Direction, and Sheeran are both well known musicians. Depp is better known for his acting abilities but he’s hopped up on stage a few times over the years to play with bands like Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, Aerosmith and the Black Keys. Depp has never performed with One Direction but, oddly enough, that could change.

Depp was seen at a recording studio this week with Zayn Malik and Ed Sheeran. No word on what the three musicians are doing together but fans are already talking about a strange new supergroup. Malik even posted a picture (see above) of himself, Depp and Alex Deleon at the recording studio.

Of course, it is possible that it was just a coincidence that Malik, Sheeran and Depp showed up at the same studio this week. But Sheeran sent out a Tweet that may confirm the birth of a new band.

Sheeran writes on Twitter: “Finished the @RudimentalUk session for today, back in tomorrow. Now off to make music with one of my favourite artists…”

Is he talking about Johnny Depp? Zayn Malik? The Game?

The rapper killed a few dreams (and confirmed a few others) today when he confirmed that he had been recording with Sheeran.

The Game writes: “Just made a CLASSIC record with the homie Ed Sheeran… One of the dopest.”
