Aaron Hernandez Gun Photos From Surveillance Video Released

Some photos of Aaron Hernandez holding a gun that were captured by his own surveillance video cameras have now appeared in public. You can see a couple of the photos tweeted by The Boston Globe by scrolling down.

According to CBS Boston, the photos show the former New England Patriots tight end caught on camera at his own home in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The images of Hernandez were allegedly captured ten to 15 minutes after Odin Lloyd was shot to death in the early morning hours of June 17 in an industrial area less than a mile away.

Lloyd was shot five times with a 0.45 caliber handgun.

An Associated Press report said that the Attleboro District Court released a total of four photos Friday from the Aaron Hernandez surveillance video.

While the surveillance video evidence has been frequently mentioned by the prosecutors, the public hasn’t had the opportunity to see any of the footage before. Now we can see for ourselves the quality of the photographic evidence that’s being developed in the murder case against Hernandez.

The suspect was back in court briefly on Wednesday for a probable cause hearing. However, the prosecutors asked for more time to gather evidence, and the judge agreed.

A new probable cause hearing is now scheduled for August 22.

Meanwhile, the Florida Gators are trying to literally cut the former All-American out of their history:

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bond. The new Aaron Hernandez gun photos don’t seem to help his case.
