Anthony Weiner may have been the focus of the press conference last night but “cubicle guy” stole the show.
While Weiner confessed to yet another sexting scandal, while he begged TV viewers to give him yet another chance, while his political career started to fall into shambles yet again, Cubicle Guy was there to provide some great comic relief.
A man, who may or may not be WOR NYC reporter Jeff McKinney, decided to listen the press conference from behind a cubicle wall. But McKinney didn’t do a great job of hiding himself from the cameras.
The top of his head and his shifty peering eyes can be seen just above the wall as Weiner talked to reporters about the latest scandal.
Weiner said: “As I have said in the past, these things that I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress.. I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused.”
That’s great and all but really, we’ve been there and done that. Let’s talk about cubicle guy. What was he doing? Why was he there? Did he know that he was on camera? Is he the real Carlos Danger?
And most importantly: Can I watch a video of Cubicle while listening to jazz music?
The guy behind the cubicle at this press conference is cracking me up for some reason. He’s Wilson from Home Improvement. #anthonyweiner
