Pink Shrugs Off Leaked Kanye Rant, Shows Exactly How To Handle Ye
Pink isn’t too upset with Kanye West after an audio recording (reportedly) of the rapper criticizing her in an NSFW rant leaked online.
This week, Gawker published audio and a transcript of a conversation that West supposedly had with a group of friends at the Corner Bistro in New York just shortly after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (you know, home of the infamous “Imma let you finish… ” Taylor Swift interruption).
Anyway, the recording was released on Thursday, and the guy who’s supposedly West also takes aim at Pink, who performed twice at the ceremony. Here’s what he said about her:
“What the f*ck was Pink performing? Don’t nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the f*ck Pink perform two songs and I didn’t even get asked to perform ‘Heartless.’ ‘Heartless’ is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter! I don’t know that Pink song! But I know that she’s Pink!”
The alleged Ye recording has sparked controversy among fans online, but Pink doesn’t seem too sore about it. Taking to Twitter, she insisted that despite the comments on the tape, there’s no hard feelings between the pair.
She also encourages her fans to stop harassing Kanye over his reported comments.
