Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner To Team Up For Television Special On Kim’s Weight Loss

Kim Kardashian is getting help from mom Kris Jenner to make her big post-baby debut.

Kim is planning to appear on her mom’s afternoon talk show Kris to show off just how much weight she’s lost since giving birth to North West last month. A source said that Kim has already dropped 20 of the 50 pounds she put on during her pregnancy, and doesn’t want to make an appearance until it’s all gone.

“She wants to show up like Heidi Klum and have everyone marvel at how fast she lost the weight,” a source told Us Weekly.

“She won’t leave the house until she’s thinner,” the source added.

Kim Kardashian has been staying with Kris Jenner while she rests and adjusts to motherhood. Doctors have reportedly told Kim to take it easy for about a month after the baby’s birth, though she’s still found time to drop a good portion of her baby weight.

But the diagnosis of rest reportedly had Kim a little frustrated, and her trainer Tracy Anderson said the reality star is itching to get back to a workout routine to drop her weight. Though overall, Anderson said Kim isn’t sweating too much over taking the weight off.

“From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she’s just not,” Anderson said. “She’s in baby heaven. She’s excited to get started, but she’s really calm about it all.”

Being the keen publicity maven that she is, Kim Kardashian likely knows the media attention she’ll get from a big post-baby debut. In recent years it’s become almost an obligation for celebrities to take off the weight quickly and show off their new, fit bodies. Nowhere was this more evident than Jessica Simpson’s first pregnancy, when she signed a seven-figure endorsement deal with Weight Watchers.
