Report: Lohan fails drug test, could be headed back to jail

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly failed a court ordered mandatory random drug test and could be headed back for a thirty day stint in the slammer.

No official information has been released, but sources have leaked reports to the Los Angeles Times and TMZ indicating that one of Lohan’s twice-weekly tests last week was not clean:

The sources, who spoke on the condition that they not be named because the case is ongoing, said that law enforcement officials were trying to determine whether Lohan failed a court-ordered drug test. They stressed the investigation is ongoing and said no official determination has been made that she did take illicit drugs.

One source told The Times that the judge and prosecutor in the case have received “unofficial” word of the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office said that no official word has yet been received about Lohan’s drug test. Other than failing a test, missing a drug test could also see Lohan sent back to jail.
