Kate Stoltzfus: From ‘Breaking Amish’ To Skimpy ‘Maxim’ Shoot

Kate Stoltzfus, one of the original season one cast members of the TLC reality show Breaking Amish, has now posed for Maxim magazine.

Leaving aside the whole question of just how real the supposed reality show may have been — it was dogged by persistent rumors that at least some of the cast members had already broken with the Amish community before signing on — Kate Stoltzfus has definitely stepped away from her traditional roots in the new photo spread.

A few of the “Girls of Maxim: Kate Stoltzfus” photos can be found online at their website.

Don’t get too excited. We’re not talking about down-on-all-fours wagging-her-tail-in-the-air in black lace see-through bikini panties or anything like that. It’s more like super-short hot pants paired with a scanty halter top.

But those painted-on black latex (or possibly shiny black patent leather) short-shorts aren’t all bad, so check it out. But I’ll admit that I don’t get the pairing with the baby pink spaghetti strap top. It’s like you have two different girls above and below the waist.

At least both of them are in pretty good shape.

Maxim said she told them, “There are definitely a lot of Amish women who have great bodies, because they work hard. They also eat really healthy, since they grow their own food.”

I bet they butcher their own bacon while they’re at it, but whatever.

US Magazine repeated an unnamed source that said, “Kate hates her cast mates from Breaking Amish. She has no camaraderie with them, she can’t really relate anymore. She has big dreams and they aren’t in line with everyone else.”

Stoltzfus has, of course, chosen to pursue her dream of becoming a model in New York starting with the Maxim photo spread.

And much more of Kate Stoltzfus’ story will undoubtedly unfold in the new episodes of Breaking Amish: Brave New World coming up on Sunday nights.
