In the midst of war even a kitty can find love

What can I say … even a cranky old fart can have his weak moments.

Back story: three US Marines, Brian Chambers, Chris Berry and Aaron Shaw, stationed in Afghanistan started a mission called Nowzad whose object is to find homes for stray cats and dogs that they find while serving in the war torn country.

The picture above is of Berry and Keykey who Berry found injured by c-wire and managed to nurse back to health.
