Selena Gomez Comfortable With Nude Scenes? Not Really, Says Source

Sorry, perverts. Turns out, Selena Gomez is not as comfortable with doing nude scenes as previously reported.

A rumor popped up not too long ago suggesting that the actress and singer was looking to shed her good-girl image, and part of that meant she’d be willing to do nude scenes in future films.

A recent highly-sexualized music video along with a double entendre-filled single fueled speculation as to how far she was willing o go to shed her Disney image, and Hollywood Lifereported that a source claimed that the 20-year-old “isn’t opposed to taking her clothes off in front of the camera.”

“Now that Selena is growing up to be a more serious actress and separating herself from her Disney past, she has no problem going topless if the role calls for it,” the source said. “Without a doubt, Selena would go topless in a film if the role was right.”

But the Gomez insider may have jumped the gun on nude scenes. Another source told Pop Spy that there’s “no truth to the report.”

That same source also points out that Gomez has proven that she’s “following a different path than most Disney stars in the past,” but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to strip for the camera.

Gomez has taken some risky roles so far. She accepted what was called a “daring” role in the recently released independent film Spring Breakers, and her upcoming “Taken-meets-Drive film Getaway starring Ethan Hawke looks to be handling some pretty dark material.

But no nude scenes for Selena Gomez. At least not yet.
