New gaming suitcases feature in-built screens, offensive brand spelling

I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel where there wasn’t an LCD screen, and I’ve stayed in some cheap-ass places. But such lodgings must exist, because somebody made the GAEMS (not a typo) Portable Console Gaming and Entertainment System, a suitcase with an LCD screen built in. Yeah, really.

The idea is you strap in your Xbox 360, hook it up to the in-built 15-inch, 720p LCD panel and speakers in the lid, and enjoy some gaming on the go once the hotel’s adult entertainment channel has been exhausted. Nowhere for your controllers though, is there? Or your games. Good going, guys!

A PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the GAEMS case hits the market at the end of the year for “around $250”. Or, if you’re a modding genius, you could just stuff your console inside a laptop.
