Justin Bieber, Rita Ora, To Bring Star Power To The Wanted’s New Album

Justin Bieber will be making a guest appearance on The Wanted’s new album.

The “Beauty and a Beat” singer, who shares a mutual manager Scooter Braun with the British boyband, will join other big name features on the record.

The news shouldn’t come as a surprise. The band will be supporting Bieber on his recently announced Latin America leg of the Believe tour, and previously told MTV News that they hoped to work on songs together while on the road.

Speaking to MTV UK, Max George revealed the boys worked with “producer Dr. Luke, Rita Ora, Nasri, and Justin himself,” for their much anticipated follow up to 2011’s Battleground.

The band recently performed at the UK’s Capital FM’s Summertime Ball as a five-piece for the first time since welcoming back fellow member Nathan Sykes, who has now recovered from major throat surgery to treat a hemorrhaging vocal cord — a condition which Adele suffered at the end of 2011.

Of Sykes’ long awaited return and their new record, George said: “Nath’s back so yeah I think it’s gonna be our best album yet and hopefully there’ll be a couple of surprise collabs there as well.”

The boys also revealed their current Dr. Luke-penned lead single from the new album, “Walks Like Rihanna,” has been given RiRi’s blessing.

“We met her manager, Jay Brown, in New York and he said he really liked it and she really liked it, which is always a good sign cos if she hated it we’d be in a pretty bad place,” Tom Parker quipped.

Somewhat hilariously, George added, “We’d put it out anyway!”

On how it felt having all five of the band reunited, Jay McGuiness said: “It just feels so tender.”

As yet a release date for the band’s new album and title are still unknown. But, with news of the Bieber, Ora cameos, the buzz for their third studio album is set to rise.

Are you excited about Justin Bieber and Rita Ora’s guest features, or not so much?
