Kris Humphries Is Super Happy After Divorcing Kim Kardashian

It took almost two years to get a divorce from Kim Kardashian, but Kris Humphries is finally moving on with his life and he’s very happy about it.

The basketball player admitted that he has learned a lot and is currently on the market. “I’m happy. I’ve got a big smile on my face.”

“You can’t force a love life,” he explained. “I’m just focused on training and basketball. It feels great”

Humphries and Kardashian got married on August 20, 2011 and divorced just 72 days later. The court battle was lengthy and nasty and Humphries even sought an annulment based on fraud.

The 28-year-old’s aunt Dedria even admitted a few months ago that his wedding was a sham. My understanding of marriage is people are going to give it more than 72 days unless there’s serious abuse,” she said. “If I felt somebody had duped me and used me in front of the whole world, I would be very angry.”

“An annulment says it wasn’t valid in the first place. She should admit that it was a sham at the very least,” Dedria continued.

Humphries’ uncle Mike also had some not-so-nice things to say about the Kardashian family. He referred to Kris Jenner as a “wicked mastermind.”

“She’s the mastermind. You can just see that’s the brains making that thing go. The wicked part is she’s using her family to make that thing. All of it’s really due to her,” he said.

Kardashian is also moving on and ready to give birth to a baby this summer. She’s received a lot of criticism for her maternity looks, but she’s apparently very happy. Her mom even admitted that she has never seen her happier.

“She’s happier than she’s ever been and feeling so good. She’s just embracing the whole thing, and that just makes me very proud,” she said.
